Banana Nut (do doo be-do-do) and Cinnamon Shake – Paleo, dairy-free, no muppets…

Banana-nut do doo be-do-do. Banana-nut do do-do do. *ahem* where was I? Oh yes, banana nut SHAKE.

Nuttin’ special about this shake, except that it tastes AMAZING and it will help you get through your afternoon until long-awaited tea time! Perfect for a mid-afternoon pick-me-up! Who doesn’t like banana and cinnamon together?

Ingredients:

1/2 fresh ripe banana
1/4 cup coconut or almond milk
3/4 cup filtered water
1 tbsp ABC butter
1/2 tbsp raw honey (or other preferred sweetener)
1/4 tsp vanilla bean paste (or 1/2 tsp vanilla bean extract)
1/4 tsp cinnamon
2 ice cubes

This makes enough for someone that is really hungry, or share it between 2 people for a smaller snack… this is the perfect thing for me to share with my son in the afternoon, half a glass each – it’s surprisingly filling!!! If you want to make this into a meal then add in some vanilla protein powder before blending.

Let’s do this:

Add all ingredients in the blender and blend until well combined. That’s it! Pour it into a glass and enjoy. x
